Joy in the Journey

Have you ever noticed that sometimes life just gets in the way of, well, Living Life?  I have had a very busy several months - designing and producing another shop window - gettting the school ready for opening two weeks ago - and looking for a new place to live And work.

It gets really, really... no REALLY hectic.  I forget that life is not just looking forward to the future, but it is actually happening right now.  I was walking briskly across the common today with my head down with all the things I have on my mind.  But I just happened to look up and see the huge oak trees that line the boulevard.  They are in the midst of their autumn turn.  It was amazingly beautiful.  Then I saw all the children running and playing on half-term. They were running as if there wasn't a care in the world.  The joggers and dog-walkers all enjoying the common.

Life is happening right now.  If I'm not careful I may miss it.

Something I wrote a while back - Enjoy
